- Whittington (quadriceps) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game versus Denver, Sarah Barshop of ESPN.com reports.
Whittington wasn't available for Monday's 28-6 win over the Giants. He didn't practice Wednesday to begin the week. However, head coach Sean McVay indicated the wideout would be available in Week 3, so his full participation in Friday's practice and omission from the injury report isn't a surprise. With Puka Nacua (hip) doubtful, Whittington could be in line for a more prominent role alongside Davante Adams.
RotoWire via ESPN - Whittington (quadriceps) was a limited participant in practice Thursday, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
Whittington sustained the quad injury in Week 1 against the 49ers and hadn't practiced since that game before Thursday. Now, he's trending in the right direction as Sunday night's showdown with Denver approaches. Whittington caught one pass for eight yards on the 25 offensive snaps he played in the Rams' season opener.
RotoWire via ESPN - Whittington (quadriceps) did not participate in Wednesday's practice, Nate Atkins of The Athletic reports.
Whittington has failed to practice since sustaining a quadriceps injury during the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers. The wide receiver has missed four consecutive practices and appears no closer to suiting up for the team's Week 3 showdown with the Broncos on Sunday.
RotoWire via ESPN - Whittington (quadriceps) is inactive for Monday's game against the Giants.
Whittington drew the doubtful tag for MNF after missing practice all week due to a quad injury he sustained in the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers. He'll join fellow wide receiver Puka Nacua (hip) in street clothes, and the duo will aim to be available for Week 3 against the Broncos on Sept. 27. The Rams will have four active wide receivers in Davante Adams, Konata Mumpfield, Xavier Smith and Tutu Atwell for Monday's game.
RotoWire via ESPN - Whittington (quadriceps) is doubtful to play in Monday's game against the Giants, Benjamin Royer of The Orange County Register reports.
Whittington has not practiced since sustaining his quadriceps injury in the Rams' Week 1 loss to the 49ers. The wide receiver's likely absence for Monday's contest would be made even worse if Puka Nacua (groin) were also unable to suit up. Konata Mumpfield and Xavier Smith could see increased roles against the Giants, but if multiple wide receivers must miss time, it is likely the Rams will live in 13-personnel packages with the team's deep tight end corps.
