   The Rams signed Connors from the practice squad to the active roster Tuesday.

   Connors was signed to the active roster after fellow running back Ronnie Rivers (calf) was placed on injured reserve last Wednesday. Connors was elevated to the active roster ahead of the Rams' Week 3 loss to the Broncos as the No. 3 running back behind Kyren Williams and Blake Corum. The 23-year-old will continue to fill that role for the team on the 53-man roster in Rivers' absence.

   Connors played nine snaps on special teams during Sunday night's loss to the Broncos. The running back returned one kickoff for 23 yards, his only appearance in the box score.

   The Rams elevated Connors from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Broncos.

   With No. 3 running back Ronnie Rivers (calf) moving to IR, Connors will be the primary depth option behind Kyren Williams and Blake Corum for Sunday's contest. Connors, an undrafted free agent out of Houston, will be suiting up for his NFL debut, though it is uncertain if the 23-year-old will receive any snaps or carries in the showdown with the Broncos.

   The Rams signed Connors to the practice squad Monday, Zach Edwards of the team's official site reports.

   Connors put together a strong preseason, turning 26 carries into 96 yards while adding seven catches on eight targets for 53 yards across three games. He also contributed on special teams with a 25-yard kickoff return and a tackle. It wasn't quite enough for Connors to crack the 53-man roster, but after being waived Sunday, the University of Houston product will stay with the Rams as a member of the team's practice squad. He would be candidate to be elevated to the active roster if one of Kyren Williams, Blake Corum or Ronnie Rivers were to miss time.

   Connors was waived by the Rams on Sunday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.

   Connors scored three touchdowns in the preseason, but that production wasn't enough for the undrafted free agent out of Houston to make the team. Per Garafolo, the Rams would like to add Connors to their practice squad if he clears waivers, though it's possible another team will claim Connors.
