- Goodson is active for Sunday's game against the Ravens.
Todd Archer of ESPN.com initially reported that Goodson would be a healthy scratch. Instead, it will be Emari Demercado (coach's decision) that will be inactive, with Goodson and Javonte Williams the active running backs for the Cowboys in Brazil.

Goodson will be a healthy scratch for Week 2. The No. 3 running back was signed to the Cowboys' active roster Sept. 15. Goodson will not suit up for his first game as a Cowboy, though it is unclear whether it is because he is not needed or not prepared yet.
RotoWire via ESPN - Goodson was signed to the Cowboys' active roster Tuesday.
Goodson signed with the Falcons' practice squad Aug. 31, but he will now head to Dallas ahead of Week 2. The running back will provide the team with an additional depth option behind starter Javonte Williams and primary backup Emari Demercado against the Commanders on Sunday. In a corresponding move, fellow running back Israel Abanikanda was waived Tuesday.
RotoWire via ESPN - Goodson signed with the Falcons' practice squad Monday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
The running back was let go by the team Sunday. Goodson carried the ball nine times for 24 yards last season for Indianapolis, and he also played on 127 special-teams snaps.
