- Harris turned nine carries into 52 yards during the Giants' 12-7 win over the Titans on Sunday.
Harris finished as a close second to Cam Skattebo (60) in rushing yards Sunday, but the former needed 11 less carries and averaged 5.8 yards per rush in the Giants' Week 3 win. Harris saw his usage on offense increase compared to Week 2 in what was his debut with the Giants, and it looks like he's settled in as the team's RB2 behind Skattebo and ahead of both Tyrone Tracy and Devin Singletary. Up next is a Week 4 road tilt against the Cardinals.
RotoWire via ESPN - Harris turned four carries into six yards during the Giants' 28-6 loss to the Rams on Monday.
Harris was a healthy scratch for Week 1 against the Cowboys, but the sixth-year pro suited up for Monday's loss. He ended up playing eight offensive snaps, well behind Cam Skattebo (34) and Devin Singletary (15), though noticeably ahead of Tyrone Tracy (one). Two of Harris' carries also came in the red zone. He figures to be the Giants' RB3 for the time being, but with Jaxson Dart (knee) potentially done for the year, the team's running game will likely take on more importance heading into a Week 3 home tilt against the Titans on Sunday.
RotoWire via ESPN - Harris is active for Monday's game against the Rams, Patricia Traina of SI.com reports.
Harris was a healthy scratch for Week 1 against the Cowboys, but the sixth-year pro will suit up for Monday's road game in Los Angeles. Cam Skattebo will lead the Giants backfield, and Devin Singletary should serve as the team's change-of-pace back, but Harris could see more snaps on offense than Tyrone Tracy, given that the latter coughed up a fumble last week against Dallas.
RotoWire via ESPN - Harris has a chance to make his Giants debut Monday at the Rams, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Harris was a healthy scratch Week 1 against the Cowboys, but with fellow RB Tyrone Tracy fumbling on his second offensive snap and not seeing the field thereafter, New York may be ready to see what the former can give them in its second game of the campaign. Cam Skattebo is the unquestioned No. 1 option out of the backfield, and Devin Singletary served adequately in a complementary role in the season opener, but if Harris is active Monday, the 6-foot-1, 232-pounder could get some reps in at least short-yardage situations.
RotoWire via ESPN - Harris (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Cowboys, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Harris signed with the Giants in mid-August to add depth to the backfield. He'll be a healthy scratch for Week 1, while the Giants roll with three active running backs in Cam Skattebo, Tyrone Tracy and veteran Devin Singletary. Harris' next chance to suit up is Week 2 against the Rams on Monday, Sept. 21.
