The Rams signed Bachman from their practice squad to their 53-man roster Saturday.

Bachman spent a portion of training camp with the Rams before signing to the practice squad in early September. He's evidently made a positive impression, as Los Angeles has elected to promote him to the active roster despite the fact that he's yet to see gameday action this season. Bachman will assume the roster spot vacated by tight end Terrance Ferguson (ankle), who landed on IR on Friday. However, Bachman doesn't stand to see many opportunities on offense with the Rams currently fielding a relatively healthy wideout corps.

The Rams signed Bachman to the practice squad Monday, Zach Edwards of the team's official site reports.

Bachman was a late addition to the Rams' training camp roster, joining the team Aug. 18. He appeared in two preseason games, logging six catches (on seven targets) for 57 yards while adding two tackles. He was released by the Rams on Sunday after failing to make the 53-man roster, but Bachman did enough to receive an invitation to stay in Los Angeles as a member of the organization's practice squad.

The Rams signed Bachman on Tuesday.

In a corresponding transaction, the Rams waived wide receiver Mario Williams (undisclosed) with an injury designation. Over 13 games with the Raiders in 2025, Bachman hauled in two of three targets for 12 yards. He also handled some punt return duties.
