News

  1. Bass made his lone field-goal attempt and all three of his extra-point tries during Sunday's 24-16 win over the Chargers.

The Bills finally got on the scoreboard at the 6:02 mark of the second quarter on a 28-yard, chip-shot field goal by Bass, with the veteran kicker making each of his next three extra-point attempts. He's made all four of his field-goal tries (all within 50 yards) and has gone 11-for-12 on PATs through three regular-season games, and his scoring floor should be elevated week-to-week as long as Josh Allen is running the Bills offense. Buffalo wraps up its three-game homestand in a Week 4 AFC East showdown against New England.

  2. Bates hit five of his six extra-point attempts in Thursday's 41-31 win over the Lions.

When the kicker missed, Amazon Prime announcer Al Michaels joked that it was the only thing that had gone wrong for Buffalo on the night. To be fair to Bass, he did make field goals from 46, 34 and 33 yards and all three of his extra-point attempts in Week 1. He is also clearly still a fantasy-relevant option as the kicker for a high-flying offense led by Josh Allen and James Cook.

  3. Bass went 3-for-3 on field-goal attempts while making all three of his PATs in Sunday's 36-31 win over the Texans.

Bass was perfect in Week 1, making field-goal tries from 46, 34 and 33 yards in the victory. The Bills figure to be one of the league's more prolific offenses again in 2026, and as a result, Bass will have a relatively safe floor from a fantasy perspective.

  4. Bass went 3-for-4 on field-goal tries and made both his extra-point attempts in Buffalo's preseason win over the Panthers on Saturday.

Bass is back at full health after recovering from a pelvic injury that cost him the entire 2025 season. The Bills don't even have another kicker on the roster, so Bass will be the beneficiary of what should be a productive offense led by superstar Josh Allen, a new offensive-minded head coach in Joe Brady, and a new home stadium that could help minimize the impact of the wind, even if it lacks a roof.
