   The Panthers signed Moore off the practice squad to the active roster Wednesday.

   With Xavier Legette (knee) missing last Sunday's loss to the Browns, Moore was elevated from the practice squad for his 2026 debut in Week 3. Now that Jalen Coker (quadriceps) is also dinged up, Moore gets a spot on the 53-man roster after playing five offensive snaps and another 13 on special teams against Cleveland.

   Moore reverted to Carolina's practice squad Monday, per the NFL's transaction report.

   Moore played just five snaps on offense during Sunday's loss to Cleveland but failed to haul in either of his targets. Moore saw the bulk of his playing time come on special teams, returning two punts for 14 yards and three kickoffs for 39 yards. The 2017 seventh-round pick also managed to record a tackle following a Bryce Young interception.

   The Panthers elevated Moore from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday ahead of Sunday's game against the Browns, Darin Gantt of the team's official site reports.

   Moore is set to suit up as a depth wide receiver due to the potential absence of starting options Jalen Coker (ankle) and Xavier Legette (knee). If both wide receivers can overcome their injuries and play Sunday, Moore will likely be game-day inactive for the team.

   Moore will stick around in Carolina, albeit on the practice squad, after previously being released by the team. The 31-year-old caught just one pass across four appearances with the Panthers last season. He will likely only be elevated should the team suffer injuries at the position.

   Moore caught one pass on two targets for five yards during Carolina's 33-30 win over Arizona in Thursday's Hall of Fame Game.

   Moore's lone catch came early in the second quarter, and he finished Thursday's game having played 18 total snaps (17 on offense, one on special teams). The 2017 seven-rounder spent most of last year on injured reserve due to a dislocated elbow and appeared in only four regular-season games before being a healthy scratch during the Panthers' NFC wild-card loss against the Rams. Moore is competing against Brycen Tremayne, Casey Washington, Ja'Seem Reed and John Metchie for a depth spot on the Panthers' 53-man roster.
