News
- Coach Matt LaFleur said Wednesday that Moore will be the next man up at wide receiver after it was announced Jayden Reed (neck) will undergo season-ending surgery, Ryan Wood of USA Today reports.
With Reed out last Thursday night against the Falcons, Moore played 34 of 66 offensive snaps and ran 27 routes on Jordan Love's 55 dropbacks. Moore caught three of seven targets for 31 yards. He's expected to fight for scraps behind all three of Matthew Golden, Christian Watson and Tucker Kraft in the pecking order for targets.
RotoWire via ESPN - Moore logged three catches on seven targets for 31 yards while adding 134 yards on five kickoff returns during the Packers' 35-14 loss to the Falcons on Thursday.
Moore has seen his playing time on offense steadily increase over the first three games of the regular season, and his 34 snaps on offense Thursday were third-most among wide receivers behind Matthew Golden (54) and Christian Watson (53). Not only were Moore's seven targets third-most among Green Bay wide receivers, they were also a career high for the 2022 second-rounder. The Packers' ground game has struggled due to injuries on the offensive line and the absence of Josh Jacobs (personal), which could mean a higher scoring floor for Moore and the rest of Green Bay's pass catchers.
RotoWire via ESPN - Moore caught two of three targets for six yards during Sunday's 20-17 overtime win versus the Jets.
Moore logged just four snaps in the 39-22 loss to the Vikings in Week 1, though it was a different story in Week 2, with the wideout appearing in 21 of the Packers' 59 offensive snaps against the Jets, finishing behind Christian Watson (53) and Matthew Golden (51) after Jayden Reed (back) lasted just two offensive plays. However, despite the increased workload, Moore didn't do anything meaningful for fantasy managers. That's not expected to change anytime soon, even if Watson or Golden aren't available at some point moving ahead.
RotoWire via ESPN - Moore failed to catch his only target and returned two punts for 17 yards during Green Bay's loss to the Vikings on Sunday.
Moore saw the majority of his playing time on special teams, seeing 11 snaps compared to only four on offense. The 2022 second-round pick of the Chiefs will likely continue to serve as the Packers' primary returner going forward while seeing limited action on offense.
RotoWire via ESPN - Moore will operate as the Packers' primary retuner on both kicks and punts to open the regular season, Matt Schneidman of The Athletic reports.
Moore inked a one-year deal with Green Bay in March, and he'll step in as the team's go-to option on both kicks and punts. The wide receiver notched 907 kickoff-return yards and 291 yards as a punt returner over 17 regular-season contests with San Francisco last year. Moore has combined to catch five of 10 targets for 87 yards over the last two campaigns, so he doesn't carry much fantasy value in 2026.
