- Muse (shoulder) was a full participant in Tuesday's practice, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Muse popped up on Monday's estimated practice report due to a shoulder injury, but he was cleared to participate fully in Tuesday's practice and is on track to play against the Packers on Thursday. The fifth-year tight end has contributed on both offense as a blocker and on special teams, though he's yet to record a target through two regular-season games.
RotoWire via ESPN - Muse (shoulder) was a limited participant in Monday's estimated practice, Tori McElhaney of the Falcons' official site reports.
Muse likely sustained his shoulder injury in the Falcons' loss to the Panthers on Sunday. The tight end was listed as limited, meaning there is a chance he could work through the injury and upgrade to full participation by Wednesday to dodge an injury designation ahead of Thursday night's game against the Packers.
RotoWire via ESPN - Muse was signed to the active roster by Atlanta on Wednesday, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
Muse was recently elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's 20-13 loss to Pittsburgh. After reverting to the practice squad Monday, the 27-year-old is now back on the 53-man roster. However, with Kyle Pitts, Charlie Woerner and Austin Hooper healthy, Muse will presumably continue to spend most of his time on special teams.
RotoWire via ESPN - Muse reverted to the practice squad with the Falcons on Monday, per the NFL's official transaction log.
Muse was elevated from the practice squad ahead of Sunday's 20-13 loss to the Steelers. The tight end was on the field for five of the team's 60 offensive snaps and he added one tackle on kick coverage while also logging 23 snaps with the special-teams unit. Muse can be elevated two more times before the Falcons would have to officially sign him to the active roster.
RotoWire via ESPN - The Falcons elevated Muse from the practice squad to the active roster Saturday, Will McFadden of the team's official site reports.
Muse was likely elevated as an additional blocker for field-goal attempts and PATs. The entire Falcons tight end corps consisting of Kyle Pitts, Charlie Woerner and Austin Hooper is fully healthy, meaning Muse will likely be useful only as a special teams addition during Sunday's contest with the Steelers.
