- Ridley didn't catch his only target Sunday in a loss to the Giants.
For the first time this season, Ridley was not among the Titans' top three wideouts in terms of offensive snaps. Carnell Tate (53 snaps) led the WR corps in that category, with Elic Ayomanor (48 snaps) and Wan'Dale Robinson (38 snaps) also both ahead of Ridley's 20 snaps. That could be an indication that Tennessee is turning toward the younger Ayomanor over the veteran Ridley, who has caught just two passes for 35 yards through three contests on the campaign.
RotoWire via ESPN - Ridley caught both of his targets for 35 yards during the Titans' 24-20 loss to the Eagles on Sunday.
Ridley didn't see a target from Cam Ward during the Titans' Week 1 loss to the Jets. The veteran wide receiver finally got involved offensively with catches of 25 and 10 yards in the third quarter as part of a 12-play, 69-yard drive that ended with a one-yard touchdown scramble by Ward. Ridley was listed as a starter alongside Carnell Tate and Elic Ayomanor, and Ridley's 33 snaps on offense were second most among Titans wide receivers behind Tate (40). Up next for Ridley and the Titans is a Week 3 road tilt against the Giants.
RotoWire via ESPN - Ridley played 32 offensive snaps and did not show up in the box score otherwise during the Titans' 23-10 loss to the Jets on Sunday.
Ridley had the third-most snaps among Titans wide receivers behind Carnell Tate (44) and Wan'Dale Robinson (41), though Ridley didn't end up seeing a single target from quarterback Cam Ward during Sunday's loss. Ridley restructured his contract in mid-March after playing in only seven regular-season games in 2025, but it looks like the veteran wide receiver might be an afterthought in the Titans offense. He'll look for better results in Tennessee's Week 2 clash against Philadelphia on Sept. 20.
RotoWire via ESPN - Ridley is among the five wide receivers on the Titans' initial 53-man roster.
Tennessee heads into the season with Carnell Tate (undisclosed), Wan'Dale Robinson (head), Ridley, Chimere Dike and Elic Ayomanor at wide receiver. Of those five players, only Robinson and Ridley have more than one year of NFL experience. Ridley was the team's No. 1 receiver in the early part of last season but finished the year with just 303 receiving yards in seven games, as he missed time due to a hamstring injury and then fractured his fibula. Having recovered from those injuries, the 31-year-old Ridley is in contention for a starting role on the outside opposite Tate, with Robinson likely to work primarily out of the slot.
RotoWire via ESPN - Ridley caught his only target for 18 yards in Thursday's preseason win over San Francisco.
Ridley started the contest but was on the field for only the Titans' first drive, logging seven total offensive snaps. The veteran wideout appears healthy after playing in only seven games last season due to injuries, the last of which was a broken fibula he suffered in Week 11 that forced him to IR for the remainder of the campaign. Ridley looks to be set as Tennessee's No. 3 wide receiver this season behind first-round rookie Carnell Tate (undisclosed) and free-agent signing Wan'Dale Robinson, and the health of the Titans' passing game will largely depend on the growth (or lack thereof) of sophomore QB Cam Ward.
