News

  1. Shaheed caught one of three targets for 20 yards in Sunday's 30-23 win over the Chargers. He added two carries for 33 yards and a touchdown.

Shaheed had been mostly nonexistent through the first three games of the season, totaling 57 yards on seven touches, but he was able to break out for a long touchdown in this one, scoring from 28 yards out as a rusher in the second quarter. With Jaxon Smith-Njigba completely dominating the targets in Seattle's passing game, Shaheed has remained a low-floor fantasy option early on in 2026.

  3. Shaheed caught two passes on three targets for 14 yards during the Seahawks' 33-31 loss to the Commanders on Sunday, He also returned three punts for 29 yards and added 63 yards on two kickoff returns.

Shaheed continued to operate as the Seahawks' primary return man, and his 31 offensive snaps were third-most among Seattle wide receivers behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba (58) and Cooper Kupp (45). Shaheed has yet to find the end zone this season, with his last touchdown taking place in the 2025 NFC divisional round against the 49ers, when he took the game's opening kickoff 95 yards to the house. The Seahawks will play five of their next six games at home, starting this Sunday against the winless Chargers.

  4. Shaheed caught three of six targets for 35 yards while also adding a four-yard rush, 29 yards on three punt returns and two kickoff returns for 47 yards during Sunday's 31-7 win over Arizona.

Shaheed found himself more involved as a pass catcher during Week 2, finishing second on the team in both targets and catches behind Jaxon Smith-Njigba. The wide receiver logged 39 snaps on offense, which was nine more than Cooper Kupp (30) in the contest. Shaheed will look to continue to establish himself as the No. 2 option at wide receiver Week 3 versus the Commanders.

  5. Shaheed caught one of three targets for four yards while adding three kickoff returns for 80 yards and a nine-yard punt return in Wednesday's 13-10 win over the Patriots.

After some offseason whispers about a larger role on offense for Shaheed, that didn't materialize in the season opener, as he wasn't among the five players who recorded multiple catches for the Seahawks. The standout return man maintained his prominent role on special teams, and he was on the field for 33 of Seattle's 50 snaps on offense. Shaheed is likely to have Drew Lock as his quarterback Week 2 against the Cardinals, as starting signal-caller Sam Darnold (hip) is likely to miss that game after exiting in the first quarter Wednesday.
