  2. TeSlaa caught all three of his targets for 66 yards in the Lions' 31-24 win over the Jets on Sunday.

Detroit's third receiver, TeSlaa played 48 percent of the offensive snaps against New York but made the most of his opportunities and ended up leading the team in receiving yards. With Jameson Williams continuing to struggle to get going early in the season, TeSlaa could start earning a couple more looks from Jared Goff. It's still unlikely to be enough to put TeSlaa in the redraft fantasy mix unless one of Williams or Amon-Ra St. Brown misses time with an injury.

  3. TeSlaa caught two passes (on five targets) for 26 yards during the Lions' 41-31 loss to the Bills on Thursday.

TeSlaa did not record a catch during the Lions' Week 1 overtime win over the Saints, but the second-year pro hauled in his first pass from Jared Goff on the season with a six-yard reception early in the third quarter before the duo connected on a 20-yard pass in the fourth. TeSlaa played 49 of the Lions' 65 offensive snaps in Thursday's loss, but he's clearly below Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams, tight end Sam LaPorta and running back Jahmyr Gibbs in Detroit's pecking order. Courtesy of their TNF showdown, the Lions will have additional rest before a Week 3 home tilt against the Jets on Sunday, Sept. 27.

  4. TeSlaa failed to haul in his only target during Detroit's overtime win over the Saints on Sunday.

TeSlaa played 52 of the team's 77 offensive snaps but was still the only Lions player who didn't record any receptions, among those who were targeted. The 2025 third-round pick had a promising rookie campaign, catching 16 passes for 239 yards and six touchdowns despite limited usage, but he is coming off a disappointing training camp. TeSlaa will look to improve upon his performance during the Week 2 matchup against the Bills.

  5. TeSlaa didn't catch any of his three targets in Thursday's 16-14 preseason loss to the Bengals.

TeSlaa couldn't get on the same page with quarterbacks Luke Altmyer and Joshua Dobbs as the Lions rested key starters, including Jared Goff. Detroit's 2025 third-round pick will likely continue to get opportunities in the preseason as TeSlaa tries to nail down the third spot on Detroit's wide receiver depth chart behind Amon-Ra St. Brown and Jameson Williams. The Lions' second preseason game will be Aug. 22 against Washington.
