News
- The 49ers elevated Turner from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday.
Turner has been with San Francisco's practice squad for most of the season and now may get a chance to perform on game day. Whether he sees any action Sunday could depend upon the status of Mike Evans, who has been deemed a game-time decision due to an injury to his ribs. If Turner does end up being active, he'll likely see limited, if any, snaps on offense.
RotoWire via ESPN - Turner was signed to the 49ers' practice squad Thursday.
Turner will return to San Francisco as a member of the team's practice squad after the team let him go Tuesday. With Mike Evans (ribs) banged up, the team signed Brandin Cooks to the active roster Thursday, and Turner could earn an elevation for Sunday's matchup with the Broncos.
