News

  1. Walker caught one of his two targets for 47 yards in Sunday's 24-17 loss to the Saints.

Walker saw 17 of the Ravens' 58 offensive snaps in Sunday's contest. The wide receiver also saw eight special-teams snaps. Walker saw nearly half as many offensive snaps as LaJohntay Wester (31), even though Zay Flowers (hamstring) was unavailable. The 2024 fourth-rounder sees most of his usage as a deep threat, but he appears hard-pressed to expand his role much beyond that of an occasional deep threat.

  2. With Zay Flowers (hamstring) listed as doubtful, Walker should have a role on offense in Sunday's game against the Saints, Ryan Mink of the Ravens' official site reports.

Walker missed Week 1 with a groin injury and now joins an offense that's likely without Flowers and won't have Ja'Kobi Lane (IR – wrist) for at least the next four weeks. Veteran starter Rashod Bateman is the de facto No. 1 receiver, with Walker, LaJohntay Wester, Chris Moore and Elijah Sarratt all candidates for significant playing time as well. Walker was in competition with Lane this summer for the No. 3 receiver job alongside Flowers and Bateman.

  3. Walker (groin) was a full participant at the Ravens' practice Wednesday.

Walker appears to have fully recovered from the groin injury that forced him to miss the team's 41-23 win over the Colts in Week 1. The wide receiver will be a welcomed addition Week 2 versus the Saints after rookie Ja'Kobi Lane (wrist) was placed on injured reserve Wednesday.

  4. Walker (groin) is inactive for Sunday's clash with the Colts.

The wide receiver logged limited practice sessions throughout the week leading up to the game and entered the weekend with a questionable tag. Ravens coach Jesse Minter described the injury as "minor" Tuesday, per Jonas Shaffer of TheBaltimoreBanner.com, but it's at least serious enough to keep Walker out for Week 1.

  5. Walker (groin) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Colts.

Walker logged limited sessions throughout Week 1 as he attempted to clear himself of a groin injury before Sunday's game. While the wide receiver could not avoid an injury designation, Walker still may suit up for Sunday's contest if coach Jesse Minter gives the green light. If Walker is ruled out, Elijah Sarratt will take over as the No. 4 option behind Zay Flowers, Rashod Bateman and Ja'Kobi Lane.
